Revocation of a CCP

Section 58A of the Corrections Act 1986 (Vic) says Custodial Community Permits can be revoked at any time, including before or during your leave from prison.

This means if you are involved in any incidents between the date you are granted a CCP and the date you are meant to take leave, your CCP might be revoked. It’s a good idea to try to avoid any incidents during this time.

It also means if there is an incident during your time away from prison on a CCP, the permit could be revoked and you might be returned to prison early. This might also make it hard to get another CCP in the future.
